Dragons Den panellist James Caan needs a smart articulate part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a good undergraduate in either Maths, Accounting or Economics with 2 years experience for a career in private equity. Experience in accounting and excel modeling would be a plus. Must be an excellent communicator with advanced computer skills for an exciting career with real prospects. The selected candidate would be expected to work closely with the Investment Managers and learn on the job. We are looking for an exceptional professional with a minimum 5 years in a top four accounting firm and at least 5 years experience in private equity or corporate finance. The successful candidate will have led transactions, managing the process from start to finish, demonstrate good leadership, strong project management and have excellent attention to detail. As such you will be highly motivated and responsible for originating, structuring, negotiating and completing new transactions. As our philosophy is to add value to each of our investee companies, by developing and implementing turnaround and performance improvement initiatives, experience of Board positions will be a definite advantage. Fluency in a second European language, although not essential, would be desirable. You will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and carry scheme.
