Last week I was absolutely thrilled to visit suit maker and tailor Terence Trout, which to my convenience is based in Mayfair just down the road from Hamilton Bradshaw offices, to pick up a stunning bespoke suit. I would like to take this opportunity to show my gratitude and thanks to all those at Terence Trout, it really is a lovely piece. To top this rather eventful day off, to my delight Chelsea beat Athletico Madrid rather convincingly at the Bridge getting into the next round of the Champions League.
On Thursday it was to Westminster for me as I attended a Business Reception at 10 Downing Street, very interesting evening amongst a great variety of people.
I have also recently confirmed I will be appearing at a Herman Miller conference to talk about ‘How to Succeed in Business’ in November. Herman Miller are the company responsible for wonderfully furnishing our offices here in Mayfair.
As you may or may not be aware, the situation in Pakistan at the moment has deteriorated. I am obviously very concerned for the welfare of the people of Pakistan, my school in the north of the country, and of course it’s many students, and I truly hope the state of affairs are peacefully resolved sooner rather than later.
On a much lighter note, we were very proud to announce Eden Browns talented social care consultant Charlene Russell made it into the final 12 acts on the reality TV show The X Factor as one third of girl group "Miss Frank". Unfortunately it was a shame to see them go on Sunday.

Projects and Events involved
The iAwards are soon approaching and were launched by the Government to recognise and celebrate the very best of British science, innovation and technology. Backed by Science and Innovation Minister Lord Drayson and myself, this is an event not to be missed. The award ceremony will take place at The Science Museum on 16 November 2009.
